For this week’s free joker copy out one of these texts and read it to your teacher-
« Not these things here but those things there. »
« Elizabeth has eleven elves in her very big backyard boulevard. »
« How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? »
Use the letters of your name and find as many English words for each letter as you can – example:
JACK =
J – June, jumper,
A – apple, apt, ape
C – cat, courage, cauliflower
K – kid, kick, kind
The number and difficulty of the words depends on your class – you know what Mrs Harris expects!
Write them on a piece of paper & give it to Mrs Harris.
You watched a video on the paralympics in class today, (from the lesson by Kieran Donaghy
For homework (for Monday September 12th) watch one of the following interviews and then write a text (150 words min.) from the point of view of the person in the film describing their daily life and the difficulties they faced to become what they are today.
If you do not understand, ASK MRS HARRIS, do NOT wait until class!

The troisième spent their lesson trying to explain lego constructions to their neighbours –

After reading the wonderful book –
We had our own Jungle Dance –
It was for animals only of course-
And there were snacks and drinks –
We played fun games like « Pin the tail on the Giraffe » –
and Mrs Harris’ favourite party game … Sleeping lions!
And we all had a great time!
Don’t panic!
Start revising now if you haven’t done so already.
Revise the vocabulary regularly and use quizlet.
Reread the ICD BUT MORE IMPORTANT – do practice exercises in the textbook, at the end of the unit and the end of the book.
For the oral exam prepare and practise the questions (the subjects are on this blog).
Check the list at the end of each unit in the workbook.
Ask for appuis
ASK YOUR TEACHER! – now is the time to ask all your teachers about anything you are not sure about.
EAT GOOD FOOD.
DO SPORT.
GO FOR A WALK.
TURN OFF YOUR SCREEN (and brain!) AND SLEEP.
