This Week

The exams are over and the results are on promote.

The holidays haven’t started yet though and we have lots of things to do, the 4ème will be learning more about crime, the 3ème will be producing their own version of Hamlet (including costumes), the 5ème will continue studying the past, the 6ème will be talking about towns, CM2 will be making treasure maps and CM1 will talk about their family and make a family tree. The anglophones will be watching a film and learning about different registers.

Don’t forget to check out Quizlet, there are some fun ways of learning your vocabulary lists and some grammar too – remember you can look at other classes’ lists too for revision.

This week is the start of a new term, so two new jokers for everyone 🙂 However you might still want some more (remember the old ones will be exchanged for something yummy this week!), so here is this week’s challenge:

WRITE ME A (100 word) LETTER ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT TO LEARN IN ENGLISH CLASS & WHY

Last week we had fun telling ghost stories at our international book club, next time we’ll be telling jokes – even better!

This week the end-of-term exams are starting, I know you’re all revising hard, remember to ask me if you have any questions.

This week’s joker is easy – write a list of TEN things you can do to learn English better.

Good Luck!

This week

BOOK CLUB – Friday 13th November – don’t worry if you haven’t read the books ( I haven’t!) Be prepared to tell your favourite ghost story instead!

I hope you have started revising for the end-of-term exams! Remember to revise all the old vocab lists (use the vocabulary games on quizlet) and practise doing the exercises and the end of the chapter in the book.

I’m here if you have any questions!
